About this archive
Over 500 photographs of a couple of dozen walls, taken on the streets during the Lebanese uprising that began on 17 October 2019. Most were shot on a phone while walking; a few with a camera. They are published as a record, not as a curated selection. Documented by Patrick Abi Salloum.
Every photo page carries the date, the place and, where known, the wall it was painted on, so that the same wall can be followed over time.
How to cite
See the citation line at the bottom of each photo page. The whole catalogue is also available as JSON and CSV.
